Belarus Receives CS/VN3 Armored Vehicles

Belarus has taken delivery of a first batch of CS/VN3 armored vehicles from China.

An unknown quantity of vehicles arrived on June 21, 2017 to Minsk National Airport, having been donated by China. Images released by Belarusian media showed at least five armored vehicles had been transferred.

Earlier in June, Belarusian soldiers had been in China to tour facilities and learn maintenance of the vehicles. Chinese technicians provided their Belarusian counterparts with materials on the operation of the CS/VN3s.

Another shipment of CS/VN3s is due to arrive before the end of June; throughout 2017, Minsk will ultimately receive around three dozen of the armored vehicles.

The donations further deepen military cooperation between China and Belarus.
