Ukraine Considering Procurement of Turkish UAVs

During a recent visit to Turkey, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko held discussions with Turkish officials on bilateral military cooperation. He also toured a Baykar Makina plant, which produces UAVs.

Images posted to the Ukrainian president’s social media show him at the plant touring some of its products, including the armed Bayraktar TB2.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, Ukroboronprom and the State Agency for Defense Industry of the Republic of Turkey signed a memorandum on mutual bank guarantees.

President Poroshenko’s visit to Turkey was from November 3 to November 4, 2018.
