In footage aired on April 29, 2019, the Algerian military has apparently used its El Jazair 54 unmanned combat aerial vehicles in an operation against militants. The drone can be seen dropping munitions in the video.
El Jazair 54s are produced locally in Algeria. The UCAVs are an Emirati design that was acquired by Algeria in the last few years.
