Uzbekistan Acquires Typhoon-K Armored Vehicle

The Uzbek military appears to have acquired the KamAZ-53949 Typhoon-K 4×4 armored vehicle.  At least four appeared in a video accompanying the opening ceremony of Uzbekistan’s regular “Tank Biathlon.”

As identified by dambiev, the acquisition makes Uzbekistan the first export customer for the vehicle.  It is not known when the order was placed, or how many vehicles were purchased in total.  One of the vehicles in the video had the number “615.”
